the bluetooth adapter is really nice. at least, you don’t have to worry about cable loops because it really covers an adequate span of radius.

Dear Clark,

Together with friends we organize every year a small and rather peculiar film festival in Italy: The International Bunker Film Festival aka IBBF. Home of the festival is Ciaixe (pronounce scheiße), a tiny hamlet in the hillocks of Ventimiglia on the Italian Riviera near the French border. Secluded by an olive orchard but strategically overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, two Second World War bunkers are set against the hilltop. The festival is held in and around the bunkers. It’s a festival for filmmakers, their families & friends.

This year we host a short vlog program as well, where I’m introducing some of my favorites. I would be more than delighted if you gave me permission to show two episodes of your work (notably 1: The Vlogfather, 2: I haven’t decided yet, could be Clarkovsaturn-ZipZapZopCom21OctAppleWindowsMrOizo136.mov or BIO MOM 1 & 2). The festival will be held from August 5 till 9. Hoping for a positive reply I remain,

I adjusted my mirrors with Josh Leo before I drove back to Canada.

Only downside to setting your mirrors like this is that it’s impossible to back up and use them. I ended up on the grass before I realized I was going in the wrong direction.

thanks melanie and nice to meet you, too! And Jennifer, actually, if correctly aligned, the mirrors can get you 369 degrees of circumfrent awareness and consciousness. Keep in mind that the extra 5-9 degrees may actually exist in consciousness, not in the phyisical realm.

i just figured out that this and many other videos don’t play on my wife’s video ipod. I think it’s because of the export settings I’ve been using (with Apple Lossless audio) for a while. So I’m reposting with Mpeg-4 audio instead to see it it works this time…

Carl: I have something to show you later on this week… Chris: I didn’t even watch these, so there’s a good chance they are out of sync. It’s a weird thing with Quicktime Pro. Usually when I first turn it on, I record a short bit and then trash it, because it’s way out of sync. Then usually it’s good to go. But sometimes it continues to “hiccup” and get out of sync… Anyone have a solution for that? Sometimes it’s due to leaving Gmail on, and when Gmail reloads to check for mail, it interrupts Quicktime’s encoding. But I usually turn off Gmail, too…

The rack over the sink seems like a good idea. However, I wonder if,in real life, some of those dishes don’t tumble down into the sink and break–especially when you might be at the sink doing something and accidentally hit the rack!

This was even better than the exhaust fan vlog.

I had a cat that would destroy the toilet paper if we put it up like it is in this vlog. We learned to make it roll out from underneath.

Watching this, I think of all these problems: scratch marks and stray splinters sticking up daily from the toilet seat; lost rolls of paper and clogged toilet from excessive paper; kitty pee and kitty poop that hit the seat instead of the pot; etc.

It’s a great idea to train your kitty to use a toilet. I just don’t think I’d want kitty to be sharing mine.

Lots of fun though. This is the best cat vlog I’ve ever seen.

I thought ginger was a hot weather spice but I remembered it’s good too in tea and hot chicken rice porridge. The dominant spice group at work is Italian seasonings garlic, basil, oregano). I moved away from curry, ginger and turmeric because my sweat turns to WD-40. whenever i have 72 hours off though, it’s a good excuse to go eastern with the spices again.
